About This Photograph
The 18th hole at Erin Hills, a heartland course designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, Dana Fry and Ron Whitten and site of the 2017 U.S. Open. The course, which was carved from rolling terrain created by glaciers from a bygone era, previously hosted the 2008 U.S. Womens Amateur Public Links (won by Tiffany Joh) and the 2011 U.S. Amateur (won by Kelly Kraft). This is the first U.S. Open ever contested in Wisconsin.
