Arnold Palmer was perfectly positioned to claim his second U.S. Open title in 1966 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco. But Billy Casper caught Palmer and forced an 18-hole playoff the following day. In the playoff, Casper posted a 69 to Palmer's 73 to win his second U.S. Open title.
